Saturn gave the landscape of southern Lawen illumination as Faba and Faye’s carriage was accompanied by Nena’s father’s carriage which carried both himself and his daughter as they travelled in the night to Cabette. Oncoming sounds of rumble and shuffle prepared the twin parties as they rolled along yet another hillside to find one of the largest parties they had ever seen. Upon them in the ever nearing distance was, among the thousands of carriages in the sea of travelers heading south, over one-hundred thousand fallas and others performing the same act as them. All of the race and residences of the great city of Rynek were escaping. The twin carriages both quickened their pace out of curiosity, passing the masses, to the front of the line where the Chieftain and his entourage were situated.

“What’s happening here?” Nena’s father asked to the head’s party.

The Chieftain revealed himself from inside the cabin through the back to answer the human.

“We were beseeched by a boy of an attack.”

“My son, Finn,” Faba encroached.

“Your son’s plead turned out to be more than true. Our wings brought word of a force that is none like our kind has ever seen. So we travel to our known friends in the south by the mountain.”

“He was right then,” said Nena by her father’s side at the helm. “The war has begun.”

Just as the group’s conversation ended, to the south-east, along the forest of death’s tree line lay three-thousand blood-hungry zealot warriors who were waiting all evening for the party’s arrival. Phillip lay belly down at the front lines as the army prepared themselves for attack.
